What is an OS 8 coating system?
OS 8 is a rigid, highly wear-resistant surface protection system for trafficable concrete. Its precise build-up is selected to match the substrate, use, and expected loads.
Why must the substrate be shot-blasted or ground first?
Mechanical preparation removes weak layers and opens the concrete surface. This creates a clean, textured substrate for a reliable bond with the coating system.
Can an operating garage be refurbished in phases?
In many cases, yes. We coordinate work zones, routing, and closures with building operations so that use can be maintained as far as the project allows.
Do you also treat ramps, skirtings, and junctions?
Yes. Alongside driving and parking areas, we coat ramps, skirtings, and wall junctions and form coved or triangular fillets for durable detailing.
